It is growing increasingly important to access online content on-the-go. In support of this need is CNN’s announcement that it will provide 24-hour access to CNN and HLN live broadcasts via CNN.com and the CNN iPhone and iPad applications.
As part of TV Everywhere, cable subscribers will now have the ability to view their cable content on numerous devices and platforms. Currently, live CNN broadcasts are available to AT&T, Comcast, Cox, DISH Network, Suddenlink and Verizon customers. Unfortunately, cable providers Time Warner Cable and Cablevision are not offering this service.
Ultimately, this means that TV Everywhere participants, and CNN broadcasts specifically, will reach a larger audience.
